# Agent Workflows: How the Network Executes Work

> Agent workflows are the composable sequences by which Twin, core agents, and domain agents execute multi-step work under governance and continuity.

Agent workflows are the composable sequences by which the Spine Agent Network executes multi-step work. A renewal, an escalation, a QBR prep, or a month-end reconciliation is a workflow made of capabilities and handoffs across agents, all under governance.

## What a Workflow Includes

* **Trigger** — the event or intent that starts it.
* **Steps** — the capabilities invoked in sequence or in parallel.
* **Handoffs** — where work passes between agents or to a human.
* **Approvals** — where human review is required.
* **Receipts** — recorded at every step for audit and continuity.
