# HR Human Workbench: Surfaces and Daily Tasks

> Discover the primary surfaces, tabs, and daily work loop for recruiters, HRBPs, and People Ops inside the Spine HR workbench.

The Human Workbench is the primary surface where HR practitioners spend their day. It pulls together candidates, interviews, offers, reviews, and onboarding tasks into contextual tabs so you never have to hunt across systems.

## Primary Surfaces

* **Pipeline Board:** a Kanban view of candidates by stage for each open requisition.
* **Interview Calendar:** upcoming interviews with scorecard completion status.
* **People Queue:** tasks requiring action, such as offer approvals or review launches.
* **Directory Search:** employee lookup by name, team, manager, or tenure.

## The Daily Loop

    Open the People Queue to see tasks that need your attention today, such as pending offer approvals or overdue feedback.

  <Step title="Check pipeline">
    Switch to the Pipeline Board to see where candidates are stuck and who needs a nudge.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Manage interviews">
    Use the Interview Calendar to confirm logistics, review completed scorecards, and move candidates forward.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Act and continue">
    Complete actions directly in the workbench. Context persists, so you can resume exactly where you left off.

  Use the global search bar to jump directly to a candidate, employee, or requisition without navigating tabs.

## Key Tabs

* **Open Roles:** requisitions you own or support.
* **Candidates:** applicant profiles with history, feedback, and comms.
* **Offers:** compensation proposals with approval status.
* **Reviews:** active performance cycles and completion progress.
* **Onboarding:** new hire checklists and task owners.
