# Product Engineering Integrations: Connected Source Systems

> Source systems that feed the Product Engineering domain and what each provides through Spine connectors.

The Product Engineering domain is projected from multiple source systems. Each system connects through a Spine connector that ingests data, normalizes entities, and enables write-back through governed capabilities.

| Source System | Provides | Write-Back |
| ------------- | ------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------ |
| Linear | Issues, epics, sprints, comments | Issue updates, status changes, assignments |
| Jira | Issues, epics, versions, sprints | Issue updates, sprint moves |
| GitHub | Pull requests, commits, releases, CI checks | PR merges, release creation, comments |
| Figma | Design files, frames, comments | Status references, comment links |
| Notion | Product docs, specs, meeting notes | Doc references, linked notes |
| PagerDuty | Incidents, on-call schedules, escalations | Incident acknowledgments, reassignments |
| Sentry | Error events, issue groups, release health | Issue status updates |
| Datadog | Metrics, monitors, deployment events | Alert status references |

Each connector uses the MCP protocol for tool integration. Authorization is scoped per workspace and role.
