Agent workflows are the composable sequences by which the Spine Agent Network executes multi-step work. A renewal, an escalation, a QBR prep, or a month-end reconciliation is a workflow made of capabilities and handoffs across agents, all under governance.

What a Workflow Includes

  • Trigger — the event or intent that starts it.
  • Steps — the capabilities invoked in sequence or in parallel.
  • Handoffs — where work passes between agents or to a human.
  • Approvals — where human review is required.
  • Receipts — recorded at every step for audit and continuity.
